API/Cloudformation to create an Application in AWS IAM Identity Center (SSO)

Question

Hi all, I would like to automatically add an application (like sumo that it is preintegrated) inside AWS SSO using some service like Lambda or Cloudformation. I did several searches but couldn't find anything. Can someone help me? Thanks in advance!

It looks like [CloudFormation doesn't support the resources](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/AWS_SSO.html) you would so would normally need to make use of [Custom Resources](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/template-custom-resources.html).

However, it doesn't look like the [IAM Identity Center API](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/singlesignon/latest/APIReference/index.html), [Identity Store API](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/singlesignon/latest/IdentityStoreAPIReference/index.html), or [IAM Identity Center Access Portal API](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/singlesignon/latest/PortalAPIReference/index.html) support the operations you need.

It looks like this has to be a manual operation for the time being. If you have an AWS Support plan I would suggest reaching out and advocating for APIs to support this capability.
