Seeking Advice: AWS SES Messages Flagged as Spam

0

Hello AWS SES Community,

I hope everyone is doing well. I'm reaching out to seek some advice regarding an issue we've encountered with the Simple Email Service (SES).

We've noticed that messages sent through SES are consistently being flagged as spam by recipients' mail servers. This has become a significant hurdle for us as it impacts the deliverability and reliability of our email communications.

Could anyone offer insights or best practices to address this issue effectively? We're eager to learn and implement any necessary changes to ensure our emails sent via SES reach recipients' inboxes reliably.

Thank you all in advance for your help and expertise.

If your e-mail isn't spammy, and I assume it is not, else you would not be posting this here, then a likely cause of this is that you have not enabled DKIM and published DKIM and SPF records authenticating your e-mail.

While it isn't necessary to authenticate your e-mail with DKIM or publish SPF records, many recipients will consider your e-mail to me more likely spam if you don't.

Please read and configure these in your DNS and enable DKIM on your SES identity - https://docs.aws.amazon.com/ses/latest/dg/email-authentication-methods.html
