CloudMap timeout and network errors in AWS Console

0

Hello, When I try to access the CloudMap Namespace in the AWS console, either from CloudMap or from the Namespaces in ECS, the page never loads and a read Timeout or "NetworkingError: Network Failure" banner appears. I have tried this over a period of a few days and the issue has not resolved. The problem only occurs for me in ap-southeast-2 (Sydney) .

I do have a public zone in namespaces which I created a while ago. I can no longer access it or use it. Even trying to select that namespace when creating tasks in ECS results in a timeout.

Any advice out be appreciated, Thanks. Tony

If you are experiencing timeouts or network errors while accessing CloudMap Namespace in the AWS console, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Check the status of the AWS Management Console service in the AWS Service Health Dashboard. If there is an ongoing issue with the service, it may affect your ability to access CloudMap.
  2. Check if there are any issues with your internet connectivity or network configuration that may be causing the timeouts or errors. Try accessing CloudMap from a different network or device to see if the issue persists.
  3. Check the CloudMap service limits for your AWS account, as you may have reached a limit that is causing the issue. You can view and modify your service limits in the AWS Service Quotas console.
  4. Check if there are any AWS IAM policies or permissions that may be blocking your access to CloudMap. Make sure that you have the required permissions to access the service and that your IAM policies are properly configured.
