How to stop billing before removing AWS account: Elastic IP address not attached to a running instance per hour

0

Hello, I would like to close my account and pay what I owe AWS. However, I have this line that is still billing: Elastic IP address not attached to a running instance per hour

I deleted every EC2 instance and released all elastic IPs. I don't understand why I am still charged.

How can I stop that pls. Regards

Please make sure that there are no elastic ips existing in other regions also, which are yet to be released.

If you recently released the IPs, I'd suggest you to give it a while, it'd go away and you'll not see this in the bill.

If you have already verified there there is no EIP exists in any of the region, I'd advise you to reach out to Billing Support by logging a case under Account and billing and provide as much details as possible.

They will certainly help you out.

Hope you find this helpful.

Comment here if you have additional questions, happy to help.
