Can't receive email in Amazon Workmail

Hi,
I can't receive email using a verified domain in Workmail. I used to be able to but haven't used the mailbox in a while. Now I can't receive but I can send. I have swapped the default domains around but it's still not working. Any ideas?

Same for my domain
I can't receive emails in Workmail.
Gmail says(Gmail to Workmail iD ):
Address not found
Your message wasn't delivered to ****@uppskale.com because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail.

mxtoolbox.com shows the MX records.
But it shows :
inbound-smtp.us-east-1.amazonaws.com Blacklisted by SORBS DUHL
maybe it's the issue not sure.

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear you're having problems receiving mail. It seems that your MX is record is not correct. Please make sure WorkMail is the only one in the list. The error message you're receiving is from google who is unable to resolve the email address.

Hi there,

We are having the same issues, we have all MX records (4 records) and DKIM setup but we are not receiving emails and our potential customers are complaining that they are not able to reach us on the email that they have received.

Can you please help? The domain is crazon.io

Just received a mailer-daemon email and suggesting it is on the suspension list. I have removed it but I think the issue is coming when someone is sending an email with attachment. Appreciate your quick response.

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing problems receiving mail. A quick look at your domain shows that you have 2 different servers in your MX record. 2 different regions:
0 inbound-smtp.us-east-1.amazonaws.com.
0 inbound-smtp.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com.

You need to add only 1 record for the correct region which is the "eu-west-1" one for your organization. Right now mail is most likely going to the us-east-1 region where your organization is not located and thus the users are not found.

I also see that you're missing the SPF text record. Please create this txt record as well to improve mail deliverability.

Hi Robin, Thank you for your response. I have removed one MX record from the DNS settings. With regards SPF, I can already see a txt record configured for SPF so not sure why can't see it. Any suggestions or help? Thank you

Forgot to mention that after removing the MX record we are still facing the issue. Do you think it is because DNS need 24 hours to cascade these changes?

Hi,

I checked your account and everything seems to be in order. It can be that mail servers cache the MX record but that should resolve it self after some time. Are you still experiencing problems receiving mail?

For the SPF record, the records is present and looks good.

Hi Robin,

It seems that we are receiving emails but we are getting MAiler-Daemon failed to send email to one of our address. The address where SES is failing to send is sales@crazon.io and the error code is suggesting the email address is in the suppression list but we have already removed few times so not sure why it is keeping doing that. Appreciate your help in this matter. Thank you

Sorry, I just saw your response today for some reason I forgot to refresh the page. Also just to let you know that as per the error message and my earlier messages, we have removed sales@crazon.io from the suppression list but still getting the same problem.

It seems the sender is still is on the suppression list. Can you check if another sender can send an email to the sales@ email address?

I have just sent an email to sales@crazon.io from Gmail and received it as well. Not sure why I am having this problem when SES is sending an email to this address.

I am struggling to understand why it is still in the suppression list and if it is in the suppression list why Gmail is able to send?

In your case it seems that its not a problem with receiving mail but sending to your mailbox using SES. I suggest to open a topic in the SES forum to get help from the SES team.

We use G-Suite and for our second part we use Amazon SES.

We need to get answer from our user from email which we sending.

So, when I delete mail from G-Suite hello@ourdomain.com I can send mail but I can't reciver it.
I see 550 error in my test Gmail account.

I tried to create Workmail, becouse I thinked this is help me for getting email, but via Workmail I can send email, but I can't recive it too.

I added the bucket https://aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/knowledge-center/ses-receive-inbound-emails/

but it's doesn't help too.

Sum: we want to send email via SES using SMTP and reciver answer from our user, what should I do?

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing problems with configuring WorkMail. You're not receiving any mail in your WorkMail organization as its sent to GSuite which has the lowest priority server in your MX record.

From what I understand you want to send and receive email using SES but use GSuite as your primary mail server. I am not sure if its possible but you can configure the email address you're using both in SES and in GSuite. This will allow you to send messages using SES and the GSuite receiving server will know where to deliver the email.
