Unable to receive emails on our private email id from namecheap

hi, I talked to namecheap support and they advised us to put their MX records and TXT record after which we'll be able to receive emails on our private email id.

We did so, but unfortunately we are still unable to receive an email.

It is interesting to know that we are able to send emails from our private email address but not receive any email on it.

it seems like my problem has been resolved by removing the @ sign from hostname

I'll re-post if issue is faced.
