Failed to configure namecheap domain to my EC2 intance

0

Hello

So I have an EC2 instance running but I'm failing to point my namecheap domain to it.

  • I have an elastic IP configured for the instance

  • I created an Hosted Zone on route53 that have the following records:
    1 - Record Name: koncreteglobal.com - Type: A - Routing policy: Simple - Value: EC2 Elastic IPv4 address
    2 - Record Name: *.koncreteglobal.com - Type: A - Routing policy: Simple - Value: EC2 Elastic IPv4 address
    3 - Record Name: koncreteglobal.com - Type: NS - Routing policy: Simple - Value: 4 nameservers
4 - Record Name: koncreteglobal.com - Type: SOA. (created automatically)

  • On namecheap I configured the 4 nameservers and I was told by their support that the configuration is fine.

Any idea on what I might be missing on AWS side?

Domain: http://koncreteglobal.com/

Thank you for your help

Fixed. The problem was that my application was running on port 8080. The problem was solved by forwarding port 80 to 8080
