Delete Website on S3 If your website is hosted via S3 then deleting the bucket and hosted zones on Route53 will remove the website and prevent future charges.

To Delete AWS Account Log in to the AWS Management Console with your account credentials at https://aws.amazon.com/console/.

In the top navigation bar, click on your account name or the "Services" dropdown menu and select "My Account."

On the "My Account" page, scroll down to the "My Billing Dashboard" section and click on the "Go to Billing & Cost Management" button. This will open the AWS Billing and Cost Management console.

In the left navigation pane of the Billing and Cost Management console, click on "Billing preferences" or "Payment methods" to ensure that your billing information is up to date and that there are no outstanding charges.

After reviewing your billing information, go to the "Account Settings" section and click on "Close Account." This will initiate the account closure process.

Follow the instructions provided on the screen to close your account. This may involve confirming your identity, reviewing any outstanding charges, and acknowledging the consequences of closing the account.

Once you have completed the closure process, AWS will start terminating your resources and services. Depending on your usage and the resources involved, this process may take some time.

It's important to note that closing your AWS account will stop any ongoing billing, but it does not automatically delete your website or associated resources. You will need to manually terminate or delete your AWS resources such as EC2 instances, S3 buckets, databases, and any other services you have been using. Be sure to back up any data you want to keep before terminating resources.
