AWS Amplify won't detect Tailwind CSS

Hey all,

I've deployed a AWS Amplify environment to start working on a static website project. Locally I set up Tailwind CSS and pushed the repository with the tailwind configurations with it. The environment was built but Amplify didn't apply Tailwind CSS. I am 100% I am missing something but I am very new to Amplify and would love some guidance in regards to this.
