Where to see RabbitMQ maintenance events? And can maintenance trigger some kind of notification?

When I check in RDS, there is a section Logs & Events. Under the events, I can see, when the database underwent maintenance. I have not yet enabled CloudWatch for RabbitMQ, as I see no merit in it. I read through troubleshooting and service documentation in AWS for RabbitMQ, but could not find, how can I enable notification in the event of maintenance of RabbitMQ. All the service disruptions have occurred after the maintenance window, so I assumed, that they were related to the maintenance. I need to restart a couple of services after the maintenance that live in pods.
