EC2 RHEL OS post upgrade upgrade

I performed an in-place upgrade from 7.9 to 8.9. If I issue a reboot from the SSH client instance reachability check fails. I was able to stop and start the instance with no issues from the AWS console. Any idea?

Hello.

Check the OS system log and are there any error messages output?

Also, try connecting to the OS using something like a serial console.
