SMS Template is mandatory?

Hello guys, I was reading the SNS SMS documentation, and I have a doubt about it... Is mandatory to register an template to send new SMS messages? Or it is only for certain regions (I'm from Brazil, if it means something about the region )?

Hello,

Please refer https://docs.aws.amazon.com/sns/latest/dg/sns-supported-regions-countries.html to see which all countries require register a template to be registered before sending messages.

It depends on the destination country you are planning to send, and not AWS region you are using
