Analyze expense returns different line item fields header with the same document with different file type.

Hi, I'm using analyze expense to extract details from my invoice. I have an invoice document in a pdf and also in png format with the same content. My problem is that when I scan both of them, They return different Line Item Fields. I've attached screen shots for comparison. It seems that it can't detect line item fields in pdf format.

Invoice PNG format: Enter image description here

Invoice PDF format: Enter image description here

Here's the the google drive link for the actual document

Hi,

Thanks for using Textract service. Sorry that you are facing inconsistent behavior for different document format though in usual case they should have same outputs. Would you please share the documents so we help look into the issue.

Thank you, Shayne

Hello,

Thanks again for using Amazon Textract. I am able to reproduce the issue with the documents provided, however I do notice that the pdf you shared is cropped strangely within the pdf. When converting the png image to a pdf myself, the results from AnalyzeExpense are identical between the two. Is seems likely that this cropping is changing the resolution enough to affect the results.

Hope this makes sense. Let us know if you have any other questions.
