Verify LIDAR works correctly

Question

How can I verify that the LIDAR is working correctly?
Can I see it LIDAR data from a terminal window, Does the rplidarNode print to a log file?
Just wanted to verify before a month return window closes!

Hi,

There are multiple ways to validate the functionality of the LiDAR on the DeepRacer device.

Prerequisite Steps:
* [Launch the DeepRacer vehicle console](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/deepracer/latest/developerguide/deepracer-set-up-vehicle-test-drive.html)
* Update to the latest device software

Options:

1. **Sensor status section in the vehicle console:**
* View the LiDAR sensor status in the [Control Vehicle page](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/deepracer/latest/developerguide/images/deepracer-check-software-version.png)
2. **LiDAR display section in the vehicle console:**
* Enable the LiDAR selection in the Control Vehicle page to view the live overlay of the LiDAR sensor on the camera feed.
