Here was the response when I tried the which passwd command.../usr/bin/which: no passwd in (/home/cloudshell-user/.local/bin:/home/cloudshell-user/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/lib/node_modules/aws-cdk/bin:/home/cloudshell-user/.local/bin) I have tried restarting the Cloud Shell environment, and the problem persists. I cannot create or manage users as a result

Hello.

CloudShell is a service that provides a temporary shell environment in an AWS-managed environment.
CloudShell is typically managed using IAM users or IAM Identity Center (formerly SSO) rather than OS users.
If you want to manage who has access to your AWS account, you should control it using IAM.

Why are you trying to run the passwd command in CloudShell?
If you really need the passwd command, you can install it in CloudShell using the following command.

sudo dnf install passwd -y
