InternalServerError while trying to create item dataset import job

InternalServerError: We encountered an internal error. Please try again.

I've tried to recreate the import job but fails with the same error every time. Example job name: "item-_1e105c531-4d00-437d-b260-6ea789ca1c00".

How can I get more visibility into what went wrong? What's the underlying problem for this error?

I've resolved the problem, it was a data issue. One of the attributes had more than 1000 characters in it. I'd expect Personalize to drop that item and continue with the rest of the data but instead it was returning a 5xx error.
