EFS Replication across accounts
Hello,
As I know, we can create a replication in any EFS to replicate the data to another EFS in another region.
Is this approach available for Replication across accounts ?
If not, what the best practice to replicate EFS accross accounts?
Thanks
Hi, @Maan
You have several options.
First, the EFS backup function and native replication function do not support cross-account.
If your multiple AWS accounts are in the same AWS Organizaitons, you can use the AWS Backup cross-account feature.
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/aws-backup/latest/devguide/manage-cross-account.html#enable-cross-account
If you're in another organization, you can use the AWS DataSync cross-account Transfer feature.
