Which type of CPU that Lightsail is using?

0

Hi,

I tried to explore the Lightsail function with: https://aws.amazon.com/tw/lightsail/pricing/

However, I am confused about which type of CPU it is using. Is it equal to T2, T3a or what type as the EC2 instance?

Thank you.

While running lscpu on one of my instances I get following Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2676 **v3 **@ 2.40GHz which corresponds to T2 size, but other sizes might be orchestrated in backend depending on compute availability.

  • I see your point. Thank you for your response. Which config of Lightsail are you using?

Lightsail uses a range of different CPU types, depending on the specific instance type you choose. For example, the Lightsail instance types that are powered by AWS Nitro System use custom-designed Nitro processors, while other instance types use Intel Xeon processors.
