Unable to RDP using Fleet Manager to Windows Server 2012 Standard

0

Hi All,

Has anyone had any luck connecting via Fleet's Manager RDP to Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Standard instances? RDP and connectivity seems to work all as expected outside Fleet Manager, we can get on any of 2012 (not R2) boxes without any issues from any other box. No other Windows versions we use seem to have this issue, 2012 R2 and 2019 seem to work perfectly fine with Fleet's Manager RDP.

Any advise will be much appreciated.

Kind Regards.

Hello there

According to the aws literature, fleet manager is only compatible with server 2012 R2 and later, which includes server 2016, 2019, and 2022[1]. Unfortunately, Windows 2012 is not supported as an operating system (OS). I hope this information is helpful.

Hi,

Thank you for your answer. Following successful connection to Windows Server 2008 R2, and SSM requirements supporting Win Srv 2008 (R2) (partially) and 2012 upwards, I just didn't think to check the minimum specs for Fleet Manager RDP. Thank you again for your input.

Kind regards.
