MEAN LightSail Instance Stopped Working After Changing to Static IP Adress

0

HI Everyone,

I desperately need your help. I have a MEAN instance in LightSail, it has been working fine for many months. I have changed the public ip address to static public address and I start receiving 503 error message. I use third party domain and I have updated A records too. I reboot, stop and start the instance many times but it did not work Your response is really appreciated.

  • Hi, I'm sorry you are seeing this issue. Are you able to ping the static ip successfully? If so, the static ip should be working properly. You may want to contact your domain provider to confirm whether there are any additional steps necessary to integrate with the static ip.

Hi There

Have you checked the logs on the web server. See Debug Apache Errors from the MEAN packaged by Bitnami for AWS Cloud guide.
