To revert your Pinpoint SMS service from production back to the sandbox environment:

Sign in to the AWS Management Console and open the Amazon Pinpoint console (link) .

On the SMS and voice page, choose "Request sandbox access" under Account tier.

Select the reason for reverting as "Testing"

Amazon Pinpoint support team will review your request and revert your account back to the sandbox environment within a few business days.

Once reverted, you can begin testing SMS features again with the sandbox limits.

Hello Shikhar,

Is there any other specific reason you want to move again to the SMS sandbox? Once you move to Sandbox, you will have limitations as mentioned here - https://docs.aws.amazon.com/sms-voice/latest/userguide/sandbox.html#sandbox-sms.

You can keep production access in your test environment and use it for any testing in the future so that you don't have any restrictions on quotas or numbers. You will be always be charged based on usage. If you still need to move, you need to create a support case like you did when you moved to production.

I hope this helps!
