Minimum Requirements for Amazon Athena ODBC 2.0.5.0

To install Amazon Athena ODBC 2.0.5.0 on your Windows laptop, you need to meet the following minimum requirements:

1. Administrator rights on your Windows system
2. One of these supported operating systems:

• Windows 11, 10, or 8.1
• Windows Server 2019, 2016, or 2012

3. 64-bit processor architecture (x86_64)
4. At least 100 MB of available disk space
5. Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio for 64-bit Windows installed

Additionally, when using the ODBC driver, you'll need to ensure port 444 is open for outbound traffic and that your IAM principals have the appropriate permissions.
