When will Mysql 8 be available in Aurora Serverless?

Hi Everyone, Our application requires MariaDB 10.2 (or greater) or MySql 8 (or greater) for the use of recursive CTEs. Is there any news on when this will be available to us via Aurora Serverless?

Thanks.

Any new version is only considered for release after rigorous testing and compatibility checks to ensure we provide the best possible experience to our customers. It is for this reason providing ETAs for product releases is difficult most of the time.

If its a major blocker for you, I would advice you to reach out to Support with your business justification and see if they can provide you with some answer.
