Cloud intelligence dashboard not deploying from cloud formation. Unrecognized resource types: [AWS::QuickSight::DataSource]

Question

I've tried deploying the dashboards according to https://catalog.workshops.aws/awscid/en-US/dashboards/foundational/cudos-cid-kpi/deploy but it's getting stuck with the error below. This error comes up when it attempts to deploy the CID cfn template (cfn-cid.yml).

Template format error: Unrecognized resource types: [AWS::QuickSight::DataSource]

Hello.

What region are you trying to create the resource in?  
You may be using a region where QuickSight cannot be used, so please check to be sure.  
The "Unrecognized resource types" error can occur when you try to create a resource in a region where it is not supported.

Please consider using latest released template deployment on s3 bucket
https://aws-managed-cost-intelligence-dashboards.s3.amazonaws.com/cfn/cid-cfn.yml
