Can't access Top domain using https://mysite.com/

Question

I'm experiencing an issue accessing my top domain using 'https://mysite.com/'. It shows a 'Your connection is not secure' error and fails to load. However, accessing it with 'https://www.mysite.com/' works fine. (Using AWS amplify)

Here's what I've tried:

1. Domain is from GoDaddy, and DNS is properly set up.
2. Flushed DNS cache/Browser Cache, but no success. 
3. Its been more then 48 hours and this issue is still not resolving.

Any suggestions on resolving this? Thank you in advance!

It's likely the certificate that the site is presenting is for www.mysite.com but not the plain mysite.com.

If the certificate is re-issued with a Subject Alternate Name for mysite.com then the *connection not secure* message should go away.
