AWS VPN Client for Mac not starting

Question

AWS VPN Client for Mac not starting. I see the app icon briefly bounce in the dock then nothing.

Checking the logs `/Users/username/.config/AWSVPNClient/logs`

System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path **'/Users/***/.config/AWS VPN Client/AWS VPN Client/NetSparkleUpdater'** is denied.

Looking at above log, can you elevate your user with higher privilege or use root user to re-install the client?
