Config VIF Public with existing IP

I currently have a direct connect aws with vif public. I have a question, will it affect the existing vif if I configure a new vif with an existing ip public to update the LOA and then switch the connection? Thank for your answers

The LOA is for the port (i.e. the connection). If you need to create a new connection, that will need a new LOA. If you need to migrate the VIF between ports, you can follow this procedure. If the port is actively serving traffic I'd recommend opening a support ticket to ensure there is not downtime during the transition.
