Experiencing desync and jitter with dash and hls streams with mediapackage vod

Hello,

I have some older low quality .mp4 files I am trying to stream over both dash and hls using mediapackage vod. The resulting streams are (for some of the files) unwatchable. The video plays at inconsistent rates and is out of sync with the audio. I have this issue on both dash and hls across a variety of players and devices so I think the issue is in some setting i'm passing in or in something MediaPackage is doing. These videos used to work on azure streaming so I'm confident the input files are not the issue.

I would recommend to try to transcode one of old mp4 on MediaConvert. Ingest it back to MediaPackage. And see if it works. Another suggestion is to open support ticket in AWS support.
