Service quotas in eu regions

Question

According to AWS documentation, Textract service quotas for processing in eu region (and others, but mostly interested in eu) is 5x times slower/limited when comparing to US regions. And I believe they are hard limits, can't be increased via request. Is that correct?  
Also, are there plans to have eu region quotas to bump up to match US quotas limits?

Hi Albert, the service quotas for our APIs are not hard limits, https://docs.aws.amazon.com/general/latest/gr/textract.html#limits_textract, if you have use cases that needs higher TPS, you can always reach out to AWS customer service to increase the limit for you.   
  
And for increasing the default quotas for EU regions, we do not currently have an ETA for that, but we can always increase the limit for you if reach out to you with your use case.
