Getting Back an Expired Domain

0

Hello,

It looks like we may have forgot to renew one of our domains, and it expired back in September. I try to go to the Register Domains in Route 53 to get it back, but it says it is not available. Does anyone know what steps need to be taken to get our domain back? For security purposes, I will not include the URL of the domain.

I did follow these steps. When I got to the portion that says "Restore an expired domain or Restore a deleted domain", I used "Restore an expired domain". Instead, I got around this by entering "Restore a deleted domain", and entered only the domain and account number and this allowed me to create the case. Earlier this morning, it kept trying to herd me to buy a support plan. I guess persistence and guessing pay off. I hope they update this to be a little less trial and error to get to submitting a case. Thanks for your response.
