DRS cross AZ and cross regions using same account

Hi guys, Is it possible to configure DRS to protect against a fall in an AZ and a region at the same time? I have DRS configured on my account A (us-west-2) to protect my AZa (us-west-2a) resources which I would take to AZc (us-west-2c) in case of failures and it works fine. But in addition I would like to use the same **A account on (us-east-2) **to be able to do a cross region restore in case of (us-west-2) is affected. Is this possible or should I use different accounts?
