Hopefully you can help.
Got an email regarding the instance and we have stopped and started the instance which you have confirmed will migrate the instance to a new host.
Is everything good now? Do we need to do anything else. I did speak to a colleague a few months back and he mentioned the id will be deleted at some point in the coming months and that we need to put our websites onto a new instance?

Stopping and starting the instance is the correct action. That will have solved your issue. Here's a blog related to exactly that should you have further questions. That being said, I'd edit this question to remove you instance ID and AWS Account ID.
