IAM Users table does not sort users correctly

0

I have found a strange behaviour with IAM Users table.

In the IAM > Users table, I want to sort users by Active key age so I can see users list by ascending key age.

I have been noticing that table does not sort the users list properly. It misses some of our users. So after sorting by Active key age, it will sort some users by their active key but it will not display every user.

Next, if I search for a user in the search box on top of the users table, then miraculously that user would start appearing within users list (sorted by Active key age)

Because the users table does not display every user sorted by Active key age, we feel we miss noticing users whose active key age has gone over 90 days.

Any way to mitigate this issue? thanks

Just to confirm, you have checked the other pages as the results will be spread across more than one page if you have many users.

The other option is to download the user activity report and sort in something like Excel.

You could have a lambda function to notify you when a users key is over 90 days.

Also this does flag up in something like security hub too as this is part of several conformance packs.
