Require help with SES service permissions for a given domain

0

Hi AWS, we are using SES with the goal of leveraging its capabilities to format the message bodies in a tabular format. There is a blocker and the issue we are facing revolves around the verification of domain names specifically "gmail.com". While we have successfully verified other identities, the crucial step of verifying the domain above remains pending.

To verify the "gmail.com" domain, we need to register certain CNAME records generated during the domain creation process with the hosting provider. Despite our efforts to locate the hosted zone with Route53, we have been unable to find it or it appears that the domain may be hosted elsewhere.

I have checked the Hosted Zone in the account but couldn't found any. Do I need to create it explicitly in order to get the domain verified. Please help

Im afraid you cant verify a Domain you do not own or have control over

In Amazon SES, a verified identity is a domain or email address that you use to send or receive email. Before you can send an email using Amazon SES, you must create and verify each identity that you're going to use as a "From", "Source", "Sender", or "Return-Path" address. Verifying an identity with Amazon SES confirms that you own it and helps prevent unauthorized use.

  • Is there any alternative ?

  • Use a domain you own. You cant use gmail.com unless you own that domain
