Hello Rehana! Can you check security and permissions to see if SageMaker Canvas allows Quicksight to access?
SageMaker Canvas is not accessible from other AWS services until you set up the necessary permissions.
Here are the steps:
- Sign in to the AWS Management Console and open the Amazon SageMaker Studio.
- On the left sidebar, click on the "Domain" section.
- Under "Domain", you should see your SageMaker Domain listed. Click on it.
- In the Domain details pane, click on the "Permissions" tab.
- Here, you can manage permissions for your SageMaker Domain, including adding or removing access for other AWS services like Amazon QuickSight. Click on "Add permissions" and follow the prompts to grant QuickSight access to your SageMaker Domain and Canvas resources.
Update QuickSight Data Source:
- In the Amazon QuickSight console, go to the data source that is trying to access SageMaker Canvas.
- Edit the data source and select the SageMaker Domain you configured in the previous step.
- Save the changes to the data source.
