The error you're encountering while running the TRANBKP batch job in AWS Blu Age is related to character encoding issues in the IDCAMS utility. This is a common problem in the L3 Workshop environment.
To resolve this issue:
- Navigate to the configuration directory of your application
- Open the file
config/application-utility-pgm.yml - Remove any encoding configurations (specifically CP1047 and CP037) from this file
The error occurs because the IDCAMS parser is encountering unexpected characters that it can't properly interpret. The token recognition errors and the "mismatched input '_/:'" message indicate that there's an encoding mismatch when the IDCAMS utility tries to process the input.
By removing the encoding configurations from the application-utility-pgm.yml file, you allow the system to use default encoding which typically resolves this issue. After making this change, try running the TRANBKP job again, and it should execute successfully.
This is a known issue in the AWS Blu Age L3 Workshop environment that has been encountered by other users as well.

After commenting the encoding from application-utility-pgm also I am getting the same error. Now what should I do?
