How to enable bin logs for Aurora MYSQL8.0 Serverless v2?

As per the doc on enabling bin log, I have set the automatic backup retention to non-zero (2 days) and set the binlog_format to ROW using custom cluster parameter group.

However, when I query show global variables like 'log_bin', I still get OFF as a value for it. So, how do I enable the bin logs for Aurora mysql serverless v2 cluster?

You must reboot the writer instance in the DB cluster for your changes to apply.
