Sagemaker - S3 bucket access when logged into us-east-1

Question

My IAM works, but when I login, it logs me into us-east-1.  My project is on the S3 instance (sagemaker tool).  How can I access buckets in S3 if I am logged into us-east-1 by default.

You can change the region when you are inside a SageMaker notebook or python script.
