API Gateway Authorizer giving 401 for Cognito

I created an Authorization code grant, user pool, then associated an AGW Authorizer to the user pool. When I tested Cognito HostedUI's authorization code with the Test Authorizer it returned a 401.

Hi, API Gateway can return 401 Unauthorized errors for a variety of reasons. Have you checked https://repost.aws/knowledge-center/api-gateway-cognito-401-unauthorized? It has detailed procedure to troubleshoot common 401 errors.
