How to cancel RDS snapshot creation that stuck at 0%?

Snapshot creation of RDS stuck at 0% for a few hours. DB Load is at 100% and DB is not accepting new connections. I cannot reboot it as backup is in progress. I cannot cancel the snapshot as there is no such option.

What other options do I have?

We faced similar problem with Postgres 11, it took 3-4hrs to create snapshot. It was 0% till 3hrs and then it started creating. Actually I again went to "Take snapshot" option for same RDS, then it might have triggered.

    Thanks that also solved my problem

Currently, the only option is to delete the whole server and restore it from the previous backup.

There is no way to cancel the Snapshot and there is no way to let know AWS (without a support plan) that their system failed.
