the AWS IoT Core for LoRaWAN does not explicitly mention support for the CN470-510 frequency band (China LoRaWAN frequency)
here there is a list of supported frequency
- US915: Used in the United States, Canada, and some countries in South America.
- EU868: Used in Europe and some countries in Africa and the Middle East.
- AU915: Used in Australia, New Zealand, and some countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
- AS923: Used in some countries in the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East.
CN470 is now available. The gateway will be setup with CH80-87 (486.3 - 487.7 MHz)
If you are using a device that support the RP1-1.0.3A version it is mostly working. A device profile is needed to assign 505.3 MHz as Rx2 Frequency, the default is set as the RP2-1.0.1 Rx2 Frequency, 486.9 MHz.

Regardless of the Profile using a RP2 setting, the downlink frequencies for Rx1 follow the RP1-1.0.3A CN470 plan definition.
The RP2 downlink channels and the plan itself is very different from the original CN470, it is currently marked as experimental by the LoRa Alliance.

I was not able to get multicast group setup yet using CN470. The device receives the request for MC package version from AWS and responds with v2 as expected. The MC Group Setup command is not sent to the device after this which is normally sent just after the MC package version is answered.
