CodeStar - Express Js Elastic Beanstalk template

Hello,

New to AWS and playing around with CodeStar. Using the express js web application project with elastic beanstalk and not sure if I'm doing something wrong or not, but after the project is created and the application url is generated, going to the url always says "Can't reach site, took too long to respond". Am I missing something or shouldn't this work off the bat? Any help is appreciated!

Needed to create a new default VPC and edit the EC2 configuration to use that default VPC.
