Get statistics from Pinpoint email campaigns

I am looking to gather statistics and compile reports for campaigns sent using Pinpoint. I am looking to be able see open rates, links clicked, bounces etc.

You can get these information once you stream events to Kinesis from Amazon Pinpoint - https://docs.aws.amazon.com/pinpoint/latest/developerguide/event-streams.html

    I have setup a Kinesis data stream, however I am not getting the data. Are there resources that walk someone through the steps to connect these two pieces?
