How to check that Personalize data collection works?

I created a Personalize dataset group with an item and an interaction dataset. I also activated the data collection. Is there any way to verify that things are working fine and to see the imported and collected data?

For event tracker you could check metrics in CloudWatch, especially PutEventsRequests, PutEvents4xxErrors, PutEvents5xxErrors, PutEventsLatency. For interaction dataset you could check metric in CloudWatch: DatasetSize
