Problem with EBS disk resizing not completing

I am resizing an EBS volume. It is stuck at 70%. I don't know if it's OK to mention the volume ID but can if requested.

How long has it been since the volume was resized? Also, what state is the resize operation in currently?

    It was last resized over a year ago. It eventually resolved the next morning and I allocated the space on the volume.
