Manual Approval Workflow for AppStream File Download to Local

Hi Friends,

My Project Team is onboarding AppStream 2.0. We would like to implement some sort of manual approval workflow for Users to seek permission in downloading files from AppStream 2.0 to their Local PCs.

i.e. User need to put up a request to download files from AppStream for approval to designated Officers. User can only download if the request is approved (turnaround may be in days).

Is there any sample implementations/tutorial for this?

Hello there,

There is no mechanism within the Appstream service related to your use case. Also, you mentioned that approval can take days, so by the time you approve the request, the session may be terminated. Unless your files are saved in persistent storage, everything will be wiped off from the instance and it will be terminated since Appstream uses non persistent desktops.
