Accessing Lightsail instance running plesk web server VIA a custom domain

0

Hi,

I currently access my plesk webserver on my Lightsail server with an IP address:
https://3.21.214.171/admin/home (IP is just an example)
I'd like to access it with a custom domain name like:
https://www.myserver.com/admin/home (domain is just an example)

I have the domain registered and I have the A records set to 3.21.214.171 however the plesk server simply shows:

Web Server's Default Page
This page is generated by Plesk, the leading hosting automation software.
You see this page because there is no Web site at this address.

Can you tell me please, how do I have the custom domain open the plesk admin without using the IP of lightsail?

Thanks,
Ron

Hi,

Thanks for using Lightsail. Generally, you would want to create your domain in Route 53 first and have it pointing to Lightsail instance with static ip attached. Lightsail can help you host DNS zone if needed. Here are some document might be helpful for you.
