Instance stuck on "stopping" status

I received an email from AWS stating that I had an instance running on degraded hardware and needed to start and stop it to boot it on new hardware. The instance appears unable to stop and is stuck in the "stopping" state. Can someone at AWS please look into this for me?

Instance has now stopped. Not sure if there was manual intervention or not, but glad to have it resolved!
