Changing Monitoring Level

Question

How do I change the monitoring level after a MSK cluster has been created ? Is this something that is possible on the CLI ? I did not see any documentation around this.

Currently you can not update the monitoring level of an existing cluster, but we will support that feature in the future.  You can set the monitoring level of clusters during the create work flow today.  Thanks

Is it still not possible to change the monitoring?   
  
We have a production MSK cluster in use where PerTopic monitoring is costing more than running the cluster itself.   
  
Re-creating and migrating the cluster ins't feasible at this time.

Updating your monitoring level is now supported using the update monitoring API or from the MSK console.
