Elastic Beanstalk deployment stuck in "Environment update is starting."

Hey, I executed a deployment in my elastic beanstalk environment and it is been stuck in "Environment update is starting." for about one hour. I tried to abort the current operation but it shows me this error: Could not abort the current environment operation for production: Environment named production is in an invalid state for this operation. Must be pending deployment. This hasn't happened before, what could I do to resolve this situation?
